What are your favourite ways to treat yourself to more self love?

Moving my body is really important to me. I love to spend time in nature, feeling the sun on my skin, the wind in my hair, or watching the dappled light move through the trees. If I can’t get out on a hike, then I like to move on my mat, allow my body to connect to the music and flow. Embodiment is a big part of my sensual and sexual practice. Connecting to my body in any way is a really important part of getting in the self love mood.

What do you love most about being in the Vush Fam?

I love being part of an empowering and body positive community that advocates for exploration and celebration of sexuality. It’s really important to know that there is a whole movement of self love happening around the globe and inspiring to be a part of that!

What are your tips for anyone who is overcoming the stigma around self pleasure?

It’s ok to find it difficult, it’s a natural part of who we are as human beings. Don’t ever feel like the blame is on you, society has suppressed women’s sexuality for so long. Personally, I kept it slow and steady when I was exploring self pleasure. It is truly empowering to find out what works for you when it comes to your own body. I’m still on my journey but I find talking about it helps, that the more I talk about it, the more I know I’m not alone, and that is amazing!

What are three things you’d tell your younger self?

I'm glad I lived through everything I did. I would love to affirm to my younger self how loved and valued she is. How much she has to live for and to always remember those small moments that bring on so much happiness.
